New England’s Reason to Watch the Super Bowl

There it is, the image of a coveted receiver who was extended, yet could easily be in a new area code if things don’t go his way. As a Patriots fan, AJ Brown’s impact and result on Super Bowl Sunday should be entertaining enough for you.

Coach’s ties: When the former coach of AJ Brown and current Patriots coach Mike Vrabel doesn’t outright deny the possibility of getting Brown when asked, that’s when you know there’s a good history there. Vrabel also inevitably realizes the need at WR, and the historic inefficiency of fixing that need via draft or free agency.

QB in need of a go-to: All the great rookie QBs of today are helped greatly development-wise when they have a capable #1 WR to go with them. Maye would be given the big-body receiver he wants, along with Brown’s ability to separate.

Player interest: Philadelphia would inevitably want to do well by their star WR if he and/or the team wants to part ways, and Brown has expressed his admiration for the New England organization. A Super Bowl loss paired with his interest in an area like this might be just enough to change things up for him.

Could you easily dismiss this possibility, citing his recent extension? I’m sure most of you will, but the frustration with his offensive contributions has been there, and a star WR’s mental state is as inconsistent as this team’s record has been for the past years.
