Another game, another win for this 2024-2025 Celtics team now through half of December. It feels like nothing could go wrong for this team, probably since around this time last year as well, but there are dynamics to be mindful of:
Stay healthy: The only thing that really hurts this team’s chances of repeating is a big injury to one of the starters. Even if it’s not Tatum or Brown, it will disrupt the chemistry just enough.
Up your defensive pride: This team has not been as connected defensively so far, and you’re going to need that against the bigger favorites especially. Are we pacing ourselves? Maybe, but soon will be the time to quit doing that and play for quality wins.
Keep being a unit: Whether on offense or defense, this team has a natural way of playing connected. We have to keep checking ourselves in that area so that it doesn’t take any extra effort to maintain that later on against top playoff teams.
Other than that, everything looks up again for this iteration of the Celtics…
