Queta Showing a Higher Expected Ceiling

So far at the start of the Celtics’ season, Neemias Queta has stood out. Having this 7’0″ giant be an impactful piece would just be icing on the cake.

Queta has not only brought offensive impact, but his defense—specifically his rangy defense—looks very encouraging for this team. His offensive capabilities are still somewhat limited, but he’s looked like the strictly consistent lob threat Rob Williams was.

If Queta can continuously invest in and work on his game to be an overall positive, we could be looking at a potential Porzingis-Queta starting lineup. The Boston Celtics have impactful stars as always, but the depth has continuously looked good thanks to GM Brad Stevens.

  1. When Horford leaves, maybe. While Porzingis is healthy, Queta is not going to be in the lineup etc…

    1. Ahem, what I meant to say is:

Queta is a neat project, but optimally, when Porzingis is healthy and BIG AL is still here, Queta shouldn’t be in the lineup. Should NOT. Definitely not.

His offensive capabilities are lesser than that of Rob – he missed five shots last game!!! FIVE!!! AND THEY WERE EASY TWO FOOT TOSSES THAT ROB WOULDVE MADE WITH HIS EYES CLOSED!!!!!!!

But his defense is fine for a backup center. I just dont want people going around proclaiming him to be the next prime Timelord. That would be like those bobos who glazed Kristan Wilkerson for the pats after he mogged two touchdowns on the Jags!!!
