After the era of Mac Jones, it’s refreshing to see what Drake Maye showed in his first start. He was composed and excited when he scored, and determined when he messed up.
Players around the team raved about the mentality Maye has brought with him to New England. Maye was building up guys in the huddle by himself and reacting properly between the whistles.
If Drake Maye can build up the players around him, that will make the long trudge back to success that much easier. So far, Drake Maye has the perfect head on his shoulders for a young QB in this position.
