You’re freaking out, but this team can prove a lot after this slump and the others this season. The highest level of trust and teamwork can be preached about all the time, but Joe Mazzulla can call on his teammates to act it out.
When you are trying to build a culture that Boston expects, it obviously has to be proven. The real way to prove a winning culture, and to sustain it for the multiple titles we expect, is for the players to experience these rough times and stay the same through it all, because that’s when a team shows unique trust in the environment around them.
Mazzulla has to be thinking a similar thing, and you hope it’s being repeated to the players. Players have to keep coming into games with the same enthusiasm.
These slumps are where dynasties ascend or stay in pieces.
