This is objectively the universal rock bottom for this organization, if the rock-bottom games Tavai has been playing weren’t enough. This proves the point of every fan losing interest in focusing on the “positives” of this team.
We have come from the previous era’s players always feeling like they had to prove themselves to current players challenging fans to do any better. This stacks up against Mayo’s loose coaching environment and players lacking discipline.
There’s a lack of discipline not only in fundamentals at times but also a lack of discipline in caring about the universal results of the team over oneself. The pass rush stands out as a position lacking fundamental discipline to set the edge of the defensive system, and the receiver room blatantly stands out as a group of social media route runners.
