Patriots Source Says: Patience!

Amidst the drama around Drake Maye’s first week and the dynamic of the team overall, a close source to Bill O’Brien spoke out about his thoughts on the rookie QB and the team. The feedback is something we should be paying more attention to.

Bill O’Brien, fresh off a stint in our coaching tree, expresses the lesson of patience above all else. He clearly seems to feel that there are larger issues at hand than whatever Drake Maye could provide, even if he were lights out right away.

As someone who was just with us, observing the overall dynamic of how this team runs, this would seem like more important feedback than what the media is focusing on. We’re worried about the offensive line and possibly other issues, and a former coach just expressed his own concerns—preaching for us to wait it out for real success again?

Buckle up. This will take a year or two to be competitive…

  1. All right listen

I like sourcing takes from a different place, I definitely trust Bill O Brien more than like all of Boston media.

But I’m not gonna go forward with this mentality that it will take a year OR TWO to be competitive. I just won’t. Next year we will be competitive. NEXT YEAR!!!!

    WE HAVE DRAKE MAYE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
