We’re only one NHL preseason game and a few interviews in—I know—but there seem to be some intriguing pieces that could fortify the Bruins’ forward lines. Riley Tufte, among others, is the one who popped in the showdown vs. the New York Rangers.
Riley Tufte is a big winger at 6’6″, 215 pounds, so he obviously brings size, but he also surprisingly had an overall presence on his line. His solid performance on Sunday came right after scoring a goal the day before.
It is unclear whether he will make the NHL roster, but early indications seem positive toward that possibility. If he can find a way to crack the roster, definitely look for his impact down the line this season.
